The prototype robot currently features

a SUN SPARCstation 20MP with 4

Ross hyperSPARC processors, an

AMD x86 co-processor, a Philips

colour image grabber/co-processor

and 448 MB of system memory. On-

board battery management and

power system feature 12/24/30-volt

DC supplies for different mechatronic

systems. The base has a 500 pound

payload and may travel in any direc-

tion, and the meter-high, Swiss-made

lift has a half-meter travel (up) & 300

pound payload, awaiting head&arms.
